Pre-requisites:

  • Must be a Veterinarian or a Veterinary Student. (Students, please fill out this form)
  • Must have completed the Occlusal Equilibration & Diagnostics Module 1  and Module 2

 

This module will delve further into obtaining a diagnosis and prognosis for different dental diseases as a basis for deciding when extraction is appropriate as well as what technique is best suited for the pathology encountered. Lectures will review nerve blocks, basics of oral extractions, advanced extraction concepts, relief cuts and minimally invasive intra-oral segmentation, instrumentation, common complications and how to avoid them, and difficult extractions. Wet labs will involve a combination of procedures on cadavers as well as live cases.

 

Lectures will be provided on a USB.
Lunch is provided all three days. 

 

The nearest airport is Austin, and the course will be held at our clinic in Bertram, Texas.
